• Account and Registration Data: When you register on QRifyMe, we collect your name, email address, password, and mobile number.
• Vehicle Information: To link your QR eTag, we collect vehicle details such as vehicle registration number (license plate), vehicle make, model, type, and color.
• Emergency Contact Details: If you opt to configure emergency contacts for safety situations, we store their name and phone number.
• Secure Document Vault Uploads: If you use our secure Document Vault feature, you may upload digital copies or input details of your Registration Certificate (RC), vehicle insurance policy, Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate, and FASTag details.
• Scan and Interaction Data: When a third party scans your physical or digital QR eTag, we automatically collect the timestamp of the scan, device/browser information of the scanner, and approximate geographical location data (only if the scanner explicitly permits location sharing in their browser).
• Payment Data: All financial transactions are processed securely through our payment gateway partner, Razorpay. We do not store or collect your payment card number or bank account credentials on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following specific purposes:

• To generate, customize, and deliver your physical or digital QRifyMe eTags.
• To route masked calls, WhatsApp messages, and SMS alerts from scanners to you without revealing your actual phone number, maintaining 100% caller anonymity.
• To secure and restrict access to your Document Vault. Stored documents are only accessible to you or authorized viewers after passing a secure One-Time Password (OTP) verification.
• To send you automated Smart Reminders before your vehicle insurance, PUC, or FASTag credentials expire.
• To track and display scan history logs (including dates, times, and map locations) on your user dashboard so you can monitor scans of your vehicle tag.
• To manage your account, process payments, and provide customer support.

3. Communication Masking and Privacy-First Infrastructure

Our core mission is to bridge communication between vehicle owners and the public without compromising privacy:

• Masked Calling: When a scanner scans your QR tag and initiates a call, the request goes through our secure telecom masking partner. The scanner never sees your phone number, and you never see theirs. All voice calls and text notifications are masked.
• Vault Security: Documents in your vault are encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. We enforce verification limits to prevent unauthorized scanning or automated brute-forcing.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our platform:

• Telecom & Notification Partners: To deliver SMS, OTPs, WhatsApp notifications, and masked voice calls (e.g., Twilio or WhatsApp Business API).
• Payment Processors: Razorpay, to securely process payments for eTag orders and subscriptions.
• Cloud Infrastructure: AWS or equivalent cloud hosts, to securely store database data and vault documents.
• Legal Compliance: If required by law, we may disclose information to comply with valid legal processes, law enforcement requests, or to protect the safety of users.

5. Data Retention & Your Rights

You have full control over your personal data and eTag configurations:

• Tag Deactivation: You can temporarily disable or permanently deactivate your QRifyMe eTag through your dashboard at any time, instantly stopping all scans and routing.
• Data Deletion: You can delete files uploaded to the Document Vault or request complete deletion of your account. Once requested, your personal details, vehicle logs, and vault files will be permanently purged from our active databases.
• Access & Modification: You can review, update, or correct your profile information, vehicle details, and emergency contacts at any time from your account settings.

6. Security Measures

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. We use SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit, strict database access controls, and regular vulnerability scanning. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
